The 10 Most Powerful Passports in the World |
|
|
Henley & Partners released its October 2026 Passport Index on October 9, ranking 199 passports by visa-free access to 227 destinations. Singapore holds the top position for the third consecutive year with 193 destinations. The real story is at number two, where the United Arab Emirates now sits alongside Japan and South Korea. |

The United Arab Emirates shares Rank 2 with Japan and South Korea, each opening 188 destinations without a visa. This was earned, not inherited. The UAE's foreign ministry spent roughly 15 years negotiating bilateral visa-waiver agreements one country at a time. The Schengen visa-free agreement in 2015 opened continental Europe in a single step. A mutual exemption with China followed. Henley & Partners calls the UAE the benchmark case for upward movement in the index. No other country in the Middle East has come close. The United States, meanwhile, has slipped from Rank 7 in 2022 to Rank 10 today with 180 destinations. It hasn't lost meaningful access. Other countries added destinations faster. The US Visa Waiver Program covers a limited roster, and reciprocity is the constraint — countries are less willing to waive visa requirements for Americans when their own citizens still face interviews at US consulates. |

Singapore at number one is the expected result. The city-state has held the top position since 2024, treating visa-waiver negotiation as continuous diplomatic work rather than an occasional gesture. Small, wealthy, stable, and positioned between Western and Asian spheres without joining either camp — Singapore is the least controversial passport for any destination country to accept. European dominance of the top 10 is the structural story. Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, and Germany all share Rank 4 at 186 destinations. The European Union negotiates visa agreements collectively with third countries, which gives each member state access it could not secure alone. A single EU-wide deal opens dozens of destinations for every member passport at once. That bloc advantage is why six of these ten entries are European and why the scores cluster so tightly — just 7 destinations separate number one from number ten. |

Something strange is happening to your money
It wasn't voted on. It wasn't debated in the Senate. And most Americans have no idea it's even taking place but…
Not with crypto. Not with a digital currency. Something far bigger than that – and it's already been signed and sealed in the back rooms of D.C., ready to be issued by the U.S. Treasury.
Bypassing every legal and political channel under the guise of "national security," Trump has enacted this total money reset using a landmark executive order (1421).
Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, whether you support this new money or not, it doesn't matter.
Soon, every U.S. citizen will be forced to use Trump's New Dollar to fill their gas tank, buy groceries, and pay medical bills.
Which is why I've produced a critical new documentary laying out exactly what Trump's New Dollar means for your savings, your investments, and your family's financial future.
Detailing three important steps you can take today to prepare – including the name of a core band of assets connected to Trump’s initiative that could surge as a result.
As you’ll see in my briefing, the last time America reset its money like this – under Richard Nixon’s presidency in the 1970s – it created one of the greatest wealth divides in the history of our nation.
On one side, it minted an average of 1,300 new millionaires a day for over half a century. And on the other… the folks left behind, drowning in debt, with no idea how to use America’s new money to create wealth.
As Trump rolls out his new dollar, the question is:
PS. If you’re wondering what Trump’s new money will look like, when it will be issued, what it means for your investments – all of those questions are answered in my briefing.

The UAE is the template. Saudi Arabia, at around 87 destinations, is the next Gulf state pursuing the same playbook — Vision 2030 explicitly targets improved passport strength. China sits at around 83 destinations, and any Schengen visa-waiver agreement would vault it into the top 50 overnight. Watch also for the effect of shifting US immigration policy on reciprocity; tighter enforcement tends to slow the addition of new waiver partners. The next quarterly update is due in January 2027. We'll be watching. |
